TAX FORMS ON
DISK
allow you to create your own tax forms
on blank tax form stock. Advantages include reduced forms waste (most
blank stock can be used year-to year) and better registration of the printed
form (since the same printer which prints the data is also printing the form!).
To create
your own 2000 Tax Forms, you need:

DATASMITH Payroll
Version 9.5 Year End Update for 2000 ($69)
This program, which is an update for
existing DATASMITH Payroll licensees, supports production of 1099-MISC and
W-2 forms using preprinted laser, preprinted continuous, or laser-created
forms. The update includes:

2-up W-2 images for Copy
1/1, Copy B/B, Copy C/C, and Copy 2/2.

4-up W-2 including Copy
1, B, C, and 2 on one sheet (uses Style #3899 envelope).

3-up 1099-MISC images
for Copy B/B/B, Copy C/C/C, and Copy 2/2/2.

If you dont have DATASMITH Payroll,
MAG FILER can be used to prepare laser 1099-MISC and/or W-2 forms using
preprinted laser, preprinted continuous, or laser-created forms. This product
includes data entry and data import facilities. As its name suggests,
it can also produce magnetic media W-2 and/or 1099 submittals (handles all
1099 form types). MAG FILER is the program the IRS uses to produce its own
forms!
